Carlislefutsal.com is pleased to be able to share with you outgoing Chairman Al Tindalls report on the 2018/19 season. The 2018/19 season has proven to be a pivotal one in the Clubs history.At the start of the season we had fairly modest plans which included growing our academy structure by adding a pre academy squad and separating our u13 and u14 age groups into two squads and further establishing our presence in West Cumbria. We had planned a season of continued organic growth.

The FA North West Regional Qualifiers of the FA Futsal Youth Cup will take place on Saturday 30th March at the MMU Sports Complex in Manchester, with 3 of the Clubs academy squads proudly representing Cumberland.Carlisle Futsal Club has an academy structure in place for boys. As well as regular training the Academy has representative playing squads that compete in friendlies, cups and tournaments both in the UK and abroad. The Clubs 20 strong dedicated volunteer workforce oversee the development of each player within our Academy ensuring they are taken through the Clubs own unique Futsal Curriculum step by step so that each player graduates having maximised their Futsal playing potential.

Carlislefutsal.com is delighted to be able to exclusively announce the launch of Carlisle Futsal Clubs second academy centre operating outside of Carlisle. The new performance centre launched last week in Ulverston with an initial intake of u10 players (2018/19 season). The Club have been busy putting in place the infrastructure required to ensure the Performance Centre can deliver the high quality coaching content which has become synonymous with the Carlisle Futsal Club brand since the Club launched in 2012.

Carlisle Futsal Club is delighted to announce the official appointment of Martin Taylor as the Clubs New Chairman and Paul Brotherhood as Club Secretary. Both will join the Club Committee with effect from 9th March 2019. Martin will succeed Al Tindall who has held the position since 2012 when the Club formed. Al informed the committee of his intention to step down as Chairman in early 2019 but stayed in post whilst the search for a suitable successor concluded.

2018 has been another great year for the Club and one which we can all be proud of.We are three years on from our 2015 change in strategy and it’s fair to say that the work done over the last 3 years is really paying off with a stark improvement in the level of Futsal being played by all of the teams throughout the Club.This improvement is down to a number of factors including the hardwork and dedication of all the coaching staff, parents and players throughout the Club so we would like to say a huge thank you to you all.In 2018 an improved Club infrastructure has meant we have been able to:

The new performance centre will open on Friday 1st June in Workington with an initial intake of u8 and u9 players (2017/18 season). Officials at the Club have been busy putting in place the infrastructure required to ensure the Performance Centre can deliver the high quality coaching content which has become synonymous with the Carlisle Futsal Club brand since the Club launched in 2012.
