Martin who has spent 20 years in software development has previously led the committee of local Football Club Pirelli FC, a Club that have grown in recent times to include boys, girls and adult teams. Martin is experienced in project planning and delivery both at work and in voluntary roles, forging strong relationships to guarantee success. His excellent reputation in the local Football community and the successful organisation and professional delivery of Community Football Festivals caught the attention of the Carlisle Futsal Club hierarchy who identified Martin as their top target for the role.
Paul who is Head Teacher of Broughton Moor Primary School in Maryport has been coaching for over 16 years at various clubs including Northbank FC and Carlisle United FC. Paul has been involved in girls futsal since 2012 and has implemented Futsal coaching at local schools including Norman Street, Beaconside and his current school. His experience, professionalism, organisation skills and enthusiasm for sport development, in particular the womens game, makes him an ideal person for the role of Club secretary. He also volunteers on a matchday with the Club events team.
In his day job Al works for a residential housing developer leading the pre contract commercial team overseeing land deals and setting budgets for the construction phase. He has previous experience in delivering major construction projects across the UK with blue chip companies as well as developing and managing large complex property portfolios. He founded the Club in 2012 and has played an integral part in its growth since. His commercial skills transfer well to the role of secretary for the Club where he manages the budget, funding applications and annual financial reporting.
Mike is a health and safety specialist with vast experience within multiple environments and industries providing health and safety support to businesses and corporations both in the UK and internationally.
As part of his valued role within Carlisle Futsal Club, Mike provides insight and guidance to the club to help ensure the safest environment for our players, coaches, and events teams as well as heading our South Cumbrian Academy.
