Carlisle Futsal Club are running a series of 3 interactive and practical futsal workshops aimed at giving you the knowledge and ideas you need to allow you and your teams to play futsal effectively.
The workshops will cover a series of topics from the Carlisle Futsal Club coach curriculum which will take you on a journey giving you an understanding of the demands Futsal places on individual players through to the principals of team play and advanced tactics. The workshops will also be tailored to suit what you want to get out of them so please leave a comment when registering using the form below.

Workshop 1 – DEVELOPING THE INDIVIDUAL
WHEN: Friday 1st March, 6.30pm until 8pm
WHERE: University of Cumbria Sports Hall, Fusehill Street, Carlisle CA1 2HH
FORMAT: 30mins classroom 60mins practical (no obligation to join in the practical)
TOPICS:
1 – technical basics Futsal v football
2 – individual in defence
3 – individual in attack
4 – paired movements
5 – Managing risk and reward in match play.
Workshop 2 – DEVELOPING TEAM PLAY
WHEN: Friday 29th March, 6.30pm until 8pm
WHERE: University of Cumbria Sports Hall, Fusehill Street, Carlisle CA1 2HH
TOPICS:
1 – team tactics for defence
2 – team tactics for attack
3 – the importance of set plays
Workshop 3 – ADVANCED TEAM PLAY
WHEN: Friday 26th April, 6.30pm until 8pm
WHERE: University of Cumbria Sports Hall, Fusehill Street, Carlisle CA1 2HH
TOPICS:
1 – team formations for defence
2 – team formations for attack
3 – rotations
4 – the importance of the goalkeeper.
