The 2018/19 season has proven to be a pivotal one in the Clubs history.At the start of the season we had fairly modest plans which included growing our academy structure by adding a pre academy squad and separating our u13 and u14 age groups into two squads and further establishing our presence in West Cumbria. We had planned a season of continued organic growth.
The FA North West Regional Qualifiers of the FA Futsal Youth Cup will take place on Saturday 30th March at the MMU Sports Complex in Manchester, with 3 of the Clubs academy squads proudly representing Cumberland.Carlisle Futsal Club has an academy structure in place for boys. As well as regular training the Academy has representative playing squads that compete in friendlies, cups and tournaments both in the UK and abroad. The Clubs 20 strong dedicated volunteer workforce oversee the development of each player within our Academy ensuring they are taken through the Clubs own unique Futsal Curriculum step by step so that each player graduates having maximised their Futsal playing potential.

The new performance centre launched last week in Ulverston with an initial intake of u10 players (2018/19 season). The Club have been busy putting in place the infrastructure required to ensure the Performance Centre can deliver the high quality coaching content which has become synonymous with the Carlisle Futsal Club brand since the Club launched in 2012.
