We are looking for the best local talent to strengthen our Men’s National Futsal Series squad for the 2021/22 season with the recruitment process now underway. Our mens team was formed in April 2019 and in their first season won the National Futsal League Championship North and have secured promotion to the National Futsal Series 2 which is the second tier of futsal in England.
Carlisle Futsal Club can now confirm that it has been promoted to Tier 2 of the Futsal pyramid in England and will compete in the National Futsal Series Two for the 2020/21 season. After gaining promotion to the National Futsal League Premiership North at the end of the 2019/20 season it had been envisaged that the Club would continue to compete at Tier 3 for the coming season where, due to our location, it was felt that the competition model was the best fit for our Club. However, following an internal review at the Club and a successful application process the decision has been made to compete in The National Futsal Series for the coming season on the basis that it will provide the Club with the best opportunity to realise its ambitions over the next 10 years.
