The paperwork on highly rated Penrith AFC forward Ryan Hall, 21, has today been completed and his registration with Carlisle Futsal Club has been confirmed by the FA.
The former Workington Reds player was a favourite of current Barrow FC boss Darren Edmondson whilst he was in charge at Borough Park and will be well known to current England National Futsal team coach Tony Elliott who was No.2 at Workington at the same time.
Hall was a regular in the County teams at u18 level winning a cap for playing ten times and is currently scoring goals for Penrith AFC in the Northern League.
Coach Al Tindall expects Hall will be quick to adapt to Futsal ‘He is a physical player who should adapt well to the pivot role in Futsal but it will no doubt take some time for him to learn the basics. Our job is to provide him with the opportunity to learn and the platform to perform and then we will see how far his talent and attitude can take him.’
Halls integration into the squad will be delayed whilst he recovers from injury but he is keen to get going ‘I am just looking forward to getting fit, playing and the challenge of performing at National Level.’
Halls signing takes the total of new registered players to six ahead of the transfer deadline on 31st January after Michael Yarker, Jordan Little, Marc Shiel, Josh Simpson and Rob McCartney completed their paperwork this week.
