Carlisle Futsal Club can today confirm the signing of the highly talented Jordan Little. The current Penrith AFC defender joins after impressing in last weeksbehind closed doors training game at the Sands.

The former Cleater Moor Celtic player has also been Captain and an ever present in the County Football squads and has featured regularly this season in the Northern Football League for Penrith AFC.

littleLittle, 19, fits the profile of the type of player the Club have been working hard to attract. There are huge opportunities in Futsal, the struggle can often be in communicating this to the Counties best players, but it seems that hurdle has now been overcome with this signing.

Incoming Head Coach Mervyn Beacom was watching the training game and was impressed with what he saw ‘Although young, Jordan is physically ready to compete at National level and has great technique. His appointment as County Captain tells us he has character and is a leader, every player on a Futsal court should be a leader. With experience and regular Futsal training he has the potential to do really well which is exciting for us and him. We will be looking to integrate him straight into the squad for the remaining National League games of this season.’

With the paperwork on Littles signing complete the Club have until 31st January to complete the paperwork on 4 other exciting new signings that impressed in last weeks training game.

More announcements to follow in the next week.
