More Goals Donated To Local Facilities

The Clubs investment into local facilities continues with 4 more sets of goals donated to facilities in Carlisle. Bitts Park and The Sands Centre join Morton School as facilities that now have Futsal goals.

The low cross bar heights on old style indoor 5-a-side goals has prompted health and safety concerns from the FA who now recommend replacement. This coupled with the changes in recommended goal sizes for small sided football, spells the end for traditional 5-a-side goals. This has prompted local schools to look into alternative options and with Futsal being the only FIFA approved version of small sided football the answer is obvious. Carlisle Futsal Club will continue its facility enhancement project over the coming years to ensure as many people as possible have access to quality Futsal facilities in which to play the sport.
