Second workshop a massive success

Following the massive success of our first goalkeeper workshop earlier in the year, the Club organised a 2nd workshop on 15th December 2013. Club ambassador and England National team goalkeeper coach Tony Elliott planned and delivered the session.

The session began with 45mins of theory work around Futsal in general and then Futsal goalkeeping basics. This then flowed into a 2 hour practical session covering some warm up exercises and then goalkeeper specific drills. Feedback from the session was overwhelmingly and unsurprisingly positive once again.

Carlisle Futsal Club would like to thank Tony Elliott for taking the time out of his busy schedule, which involves travelling the globe coaching for the FA in his various roles with England national teams, to prepare and deliver the session. Its an absolute honour to have Tony involved with our club and fantastic for the people of Carlisle and Cumbria who all have the opportunity to benefit from the passion and knowledge that Tony brings.
