Carlisle Futsal Club competes in the National Futsal League Championship North (Tier 4). We aspire to compete at the top Tier of Futsal and are working to establish the infrastructure at our Club to compete at the highest level. As part of the FAs licensing requirements to compete in Tier 1 we have a responsibility to ensure we provide an exceptional match day event experience and as such must appoint a Match Day event manager to achieve this.
The role of Match Day Event manager provides a mixture of accountabilities linked to the planning of the event and its promotion.
Why is this role necessary? How does this role impact the clubs development plan?
The role of Match Day Event Manager is vital to the long term success of Carlisle Futsal Club. In order to cement our position as one of the country’s leading elite Futsal Clubs we must be able to satisfy all of the FAs licensing requirements for tier 1 Futsal. In relation to the event we put on we must provide a meet and greet service to opposition players and staff and host our event at a venue which meets the FAs minimum court size requirements and has spectator provision. In order for our Club to progress and be ranked amongst the top 8 Clubs in the country, which is our 5 year target, we must go above and beyond these requirements and put on the best event in the country. This will ensure the Club can generate funds from tickets, drink and food sales to allow the Club to turn semi-professional and drive up the standard of our play on court so that we can achieve our mission of creating a Club that the people of Carlisle can be proud of.
This is a casual role and involves 2-3 hours work during our National League and FA Cup matches throughout the season. The successful candidate will be rewarded with Club kit, 4 free tickets to each event and a financial incentive calculated as a % share of total tickets sold.
