The FA North West Regional Qualifiers of the FA Futsal Youth Cup will take place on Saturday 30th March at the MMU Sports Complex in Manchester, with 3 of the Clubs academy squads proudly representing Cumberland.
Carlisle Futsal Club has an academy structure in place for boys. As well as regular training the Academy has representative playing squads that compete in friendlies, cups and tournaments both in the UK and abroad. The Clubs 20 strong dedicated volunteer workforce oversee the development of each player within our Academy ensuring they are taken through the Clubs own unique Futsal Curriculum step by step so that each player graduates having maximised their Futsal playing potential.
Our u10, u11 and u13 squads will travel to Manchester to compete in the u10, u12 and u14 age group categories hoping to compete well and apply everything they have been taught in a competitive Futsal environment.
In 2015 Carlisle Futsal Clubs u10s clinched the regional title after a nail biting penalty shoot out final win. Each squad will be hoping to emulate that success so that they can go on and represent the North West region in the semi finals of the competition in Birmingham during April.
The finals of the FA Youth Futsal Cup will take place at the end of the season at the home of the FA and Englands National teams, St Georges Park, in a showcase event.
